About the job
The Head of Sales – Hemodialysis will take full strategic and operational ownership of the Vietnamese market. This role requires a commercial leader with deep expertise in renal care to manage local operations, drive sales growth, and lead the commercial team. Given the strategic nature of this vacancy, the successful candidate must have the maturity and capability to act as the Interim Country Manager, overseeing full local business operations and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities

Commercial Leadership & Market Strategy
- Define and execute the national sales strategy for the Hemodialysis portfolio (including dialysis machines, dialyzers, bloodlines, and consumables) to achieve revenue and market share targets.
- Oversee the bidding process for public and private hospital tenders, navigating complex medical device procurement regulations in Vietnam.
- Manage, evaluate, and expand the distributor network across hospitals nationwide.

Operational & Interim Country Management
- Act as the legal/operational representative on the ground, managing the local P&L, cross-functional collaboration (Regulatory Affairs, Marketing, Service Engineering), and office operations.
- Build and maintain high-level relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and hospital boards.
- Ensure all local business activities strictly adhere to global compliance standards, medical ethics, and Vietnamese healthcare legislation.

Team Management & Development
- Build, mentor, and structurally manage the local sales and clinical application specialist teams to optimize field performance.
Job Requirements
- Fluent in oral and written English (working language with regional HQ).
- Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Medicine, Pharmacy, or Business Administration.
- Minimum 3 to 5+ years of successful sales and market management experience specifically within the Medical Device industry.
- Proven track record in Hemodialysis / Renal Care / Nephrology is highly preferred. Experience managing capital equipment along with high-volume consumables is a distinct advantage.
- Possess mature, active relationships with key hospitals, medical channels, and major distributors within the nephrology sector across Vietnam.
