About the job
We are supporting a confidential search for a global manufacturing business with a strong and growing presence in Vietnam. The company is looking for a seasoned finance leader base in Binh Duong Province to oversee financial controlling, partner with operations, and drive overall business performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the key finance counterpart to site leadership, providing insights and constructive challenge to support profitability, cash flow, and operational targets
- Drive cost efficiency and productivity initiatives through structured planning and close performance tracking
- Support leadership in evaluating business opportunities, expansion plans, and operational improvements
- Communicate financial perspectives clearly to both local and regional stakeholders
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes in alignment with business objectives
- Deliver regular management reports with clear analysis of performance, key variances, and forward-looking risks/opportunities
- Translate financial data into actionable recommendations to support decision-making
- Continuously improve reporting quality, tools, and data visibility (including system/BI enhancements where applicable)
- Oversee cost structures across manufacturing and supply chain activities, ensuring transparency and control
- Monitor and optimize working capital, with a focus on inventory and operational efficiency
- Partner with cross-functional teams to identify cost drivers and improve productivity across sourcing, production, and logistics
- Support business decisions with data-driven analysis on cost, efficiency, and profitability
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and local statutory requirements
- Maintain effective internal controls while supporting business agility
- Coordinate with relevant stakeholders on audits, risk management, and financial integrity matters
- Lead and develop the finance team, strengthening capabilities in analysis and business partnering
- Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and proactive thinking
- Support talent development and succession planning within the function
Requirements
- Solid experience in finance controlling or finance leadership roles within manufacturing or industrial environments
- Strong understanding of financial planning, cost management, and performance analysis
- Proven ability to partner with non-finance stakeholders and influence decisions
- Experience in multinational environments is preferred
- Good command of English
