General Manager (Hospital)

The General Manager holds overall accountability for the hospital’s performance and growth, spanning areas such as strategy, finance, operations, marketing, business development, public relations, human resources, risk management, and communication. This role carries full responsibility for profitability and sustainable development.
Job Description:
- Driving the achievement of short, medium, and long-term business objectives as well as the hospital’s Vision and Mission set by the Board.
- Collaborating with the management team to shape and execute the hospital’s strategic plan in line with corporate goals and investor expectations.
- Overseeing all financial aspects, including budgeting, planning, revenue optimization, cost control, and reporting, while ensuring financial sustainability.
- Managing day-to-day hospital operations across clinical services, administration, facility management, patient care, and support functions.
- Attracting, developing, and retaining high-caliber staff; creating a positive workplace culture; and providing leadership to department heads to ensure effective staffing and performance.
- Establishing and nurturing a culture grounded in quality, patient safety, evidence-based practices, continuous monitoring of clinical outcomes, innovation, and efficiency.
- Building and strengthening relationships with key stakeholders such as physicians, employees, patients, regulatory bodies, and healthcare industry partners.
- Serving as the hospital’s public representative, enhancing its reputation, and fostering strong ties with the community.
- Proactively identifying and mitigating risks, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and upholding policies and procedures that safeguard patients, staff, and the organization.
- Leading organizational transformation initiatives and driving change to support growth and advancement.
Job Requirement:
- University degree in Hospital Management, Economics and Business Administration
- At least 10 years of experience in hospital management
- Good understanding of international quality standards JCI or ACHSI
- Good at English communication
