Finance Business Controller

The Company: Our client is a global furniture manufacturing company based in Binh Duong calling for applications for a Finance Business Controller.

About the Finance Business Controller Role: Reporting to the Group CFO, this role will be responsible for reviewing and improving the internal process and control procedures as well as partnering closely for the reconciliations and working jointly to improve the level of control and compliance within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with relevant finance teams to improve billing and cost control.
• Be a team player who can work and inspire the finance department to increase control, efficiency and visibility.
• Ensure the accuracy and propriety of all financial data and reports are maintained and prepared for the company and group of companies in compliance with accounting policy and local law.
• Work together with FPA and accounting team to ensure timely and accurate annual, interim budgeting, periodic forecasting, cash flow projection.
• Review various reports on costing calculation, inventory valuation, and output computation to identify improvements in accuracy and efficiency.
• Provide financial insight and deep-dive analysis on variances of key performance indicators.
• Supervise the preparation and maintenance of required reconciliations, job cost adjustments and journal entries in support of financial statement assertions.
• Set up / Review and improve the internal control framework. Identify risks and propose and help to set up improved procedures.
• Review various reports on costing calculation, inventory valuation, and output computation to identify improvements in accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Five to eight years of finance/ accounting experience with at least three to five years as a financial controller, accounting manager, auditor, etc.
• Knowledge of VAS (Vietnamese Accounting Standard) + IFRS.
• Overall combined accounting, costing and finance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with developing, implementing and maintaining policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Demonstrated experience in budgeting, financial forecasts and projections, and analytical review.
• Experience with Import/Export Customs declaration is desired as the leader in their field of expertise. The culture is demanding but if you are confident and have a can-do attitude the potential rewards are significant.
• To succeed in this role, you must have good communication skills in English.
