The Company: Our Client is an iconic Food Manufacturer and Distributor with long standing history and significant ambitions to scale their presence across Asia Pacific.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Operational Leadership
- Lead daily factory operations including production, maintenance, quality assurance, logistics, and warehousing.
- Monitor production output and adjust processes to maintain consistent product quality and efficiency.
- Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to drive productivity and cost reduction.
- Manage the factory to ensure profitability and cost efficiency.
- Develop and monitor annual budgets, production forecasts, and capital expenditures.
- Optimize operational costs while maintaining product quality and service levels.
- Team Leadership & Development
- Manage and develop a high-performing team of production, technical, and administrative staff.
- Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Lead workforce planning, performance evaluations, and training initiatives.
- Quality & Compliance
- Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are strictly followed (e.g., HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000).
- Oversee internal audits and manage relationships with regulatory bodies.
- Coordinate closely with QA/QC teams to ensure customer and product specifications are met.
- Supply Chain & Planning
- Collaborate with procurement, supply chain, and sales teams to ensure materials and production planning are aligned with market demand.
- Oversee inventory management and optimize logistics efficiency.
- Health, Safety, & Environment (HSE)
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations.
- Promote and monitor health and safety practices throughout the facility.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Engineering, Business, or related fields (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 10-15 years of experience in manufacturing operations in the Food sector, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven experience managing production facilities with 100+ staff and multiple production lines.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Deep understanding of food safety regulations and factory compliance.
- Excellent analytical, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in ERP/MRP systems and production reporting tools.
- Strong communication skills in both English and Vietnamese.
