Demand Planning Manager

The Company

Our client is a well-established multinational consumer goods group with a strong presence across global markets. The company is known for its strong operational capabilities, large-scale product portfolio, and continuous investment in supply chain excellence and planning capabilities.

Role & Responsibilities

• Lead demand planning activities to ensure accurate forecasting and effective alignment between commercial demand and supply capabilities.
• Manage and develop a team of demand planning analysts, providing coaching and guidance to strengthen planning capabilities.
• Monitor forecast accuracy and bias, identify key drivers, and implement corrective actions to improve planning performance.
• Partner with cross-functional teams including commercial, marketing, and supply chain operations to align demand plans and business priorities.
• Support planning for promotional activities, marketing campaigns, and key commercial events, evaluating demand impact and post-event performance.
• Track key planning KPIs including forecast accuracy, service levels, and inventory health, providing insights to support decision making.
• Drive improvements in demand planning processes, systems adoption, and analytical capabilities.
• Contribute to S&OP planning cycles and support both short-term and long-term demand planning initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Economics, or related fields.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in supply chain planning, including at least 5 years in demand planning or forecasting.
• Proven experience in team leadership or people management.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Experience working with ERP, planning systems, or business intelligence tools.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions.
• Advanced degree (MBA or related) is an advantage.
