Job Summary:
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Country Sales Manager to lead and manage our operations and commercial activities in VN. The role will be responsible for driving growth, managing sales and service teams, and ensuring efficient operations for our pumping system distribution business, with a strong focus on Flowserve pumps. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of the petrochemical and chemical sectors, strong leadership capabilities, and a proven record in technical sales and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic & Commercial Leadership
- Develop and implement country-level business strategies aligned with regional goals.
- Drive sales growth across key product lines: centrifugal pumps, vacuum pumps, and associated systems.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers in the Petrochemical and Chemical sectors.
- Identify new business opportunities and strategic partnerships.
2. Sales Management
- Lead, coach, and manage the sales and application engineering teams to achieve sales targets.
- Oversee project bidding, pricing strategy, and customer proposals.
- Ensure alignment with Flowserve’s brand standards, product knowledge, and technical excellence.
- Provide hands-on support for high-value or strategic accounts.
3. Operations & Service Oversight
- Manage day-to-day business operations including order processing, logistics, inventory control, and after-sales service.
- Work closely with service teams to ensure timely pump maintenance, repair, and technical support.
- Optimize operational efficiency, cost control, and process improvement.
- Monitor compliance with local regulations and corporate policies.
4. Financial Management
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and P&L for the country operation.
- Track performance KPIs and ensure profitability and revenue targets are met.
5. Team Development
- Recruit, train, and retain top talent across sales, service, and admin functions.
- Build a high-performance culture with strong accountability and customer focus.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field; MBA is a plus.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in sales and operations, preferably in industrial pumps or flow control systems.
- Strong technical knowledge of centrifugal and vacuum pumps.
- Proven experience in managing sales and service teams in B2B industrial sectors, especially Petrochemical, or Chemical.
- Solid understanding of distribution models, P&L responsibility, and operational processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Fluent in English; local language proficiency preferred.
