To accelerate this growth, the company is seeking a seasoned Country Sales Director to lead its sales operations and spearhead strategic market expansion in the region.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and coach a sales team to deliver outstanding performance.
- Define and implement the country sales strategy aligned with overall company goals.
- Identify new business opportunities and growth levers in the local and SEA markets.
- Collaborate with senior management on business planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and industry stakeholders.
- Develop tailored solutions by working closely with internal technical, R&D, and operational teams.
- Oversee commercial negotiations, including pricing, contract terms, and strategic agreements.
- Champion long-term business development initiatives to ensure consistent revenue streams.
- Drive a high-performance culture through clear KPIs, regular pipeline reviews, and performance coaching.
- Analyze sales trends and team activity to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
- Develop and manage sales forecasting processes, aligning closely with operational planning.
- Continuously monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs.
- Translate market insights into actionable strategies and share feedback with regional teams.
- Contribute to the development of new products and service offerings based on client needs.
- Upon successful delivery of business targets in Vietnam, assume greater leadership responsibility across other Southeast Asian markets.
- Collaborate with regional leadership on strategic expansion, partnerships, and market entry plans.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related fields; MBA is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum 8-10 years of commercial/sales experience, with at least 3 years in a sales leadership role.
- Proven network and commercial experience with major FMCG/dairy customers is required.
- Proven ability to lead teams, grow sales revenue, and manage complex customer accounts.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Fluent in Vietnamese and English (both spoken and written).
- Regional exposure in Southeast Asia is a strong advantage.
- Proficient in English and Vietnamese.
