The Company: Our Client is an iconic Building Materials brand, with long standing history and significant ambitions to scale their presence across Asia Pacific.
Role & Responsibilities:
- P&L Management
- Own and manage the country-level P&L to ensure revenue targets, gross margins, and EBITDA goals are achieved.
- Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting in alignment with regional objectives.
- Sales & Commercial Leadership
- Lead, coach, and grow the national sales team (B2B and project-based sales).
- Drive key account development, project pipeline management, and distributor relationships.
- Identify and capitalize on growth opportunities across segments: residential, commercial, and infrastructure.
- Monitor market trends and competitors to refine go-to-market strategies.
- Supply Chain & Operations
- Oversee end-to-end supply chain functions including demand planning, inventory control, logistics, and procurement.
- Collaborate with manufacturing or third-party suppliers to ensure product availability, quality, and cost efficiency.
- Implement processes to improve OTIF (On Time In Full), reduce lead times, and control supply costs.
- Strategic Planning & Leadership
- Develop and execute the Vietnam market strategy in alignment with APAC/regional business goals.
- Represent the company in external engagements, industry associations, and with key stakeholders.
- Build a high-performance local team and culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and results.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field; MBA is a plus.
- Minimum 10 years of leadership experience, with at least 5 years in building materials, construction, or industrial sectors.
- Proven track record of managing P&L, growing sales, and leading cross-functional teams.
- Deep understanding of distribution networks, project sales, and logistics in Vietnam.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluency in Vietnamese and English required.
