About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead and manage the full operations of an upcoming large-scale synthetic fabric manufacturing mill in Bangladesh. This is a senior leadership role with full operational accountability, requiring deep expertise in synthetic fabric production and the ability to drive operational excellence across all departments.

The COO will oversee the entire manufacturing process — including knitting, dyeing, finishing, and quality control — while managing a diverse workforce, ensuring efficiency, maintaining high technical standards, and delivering world-class products to global customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide overall strategic and operational leadership of the mill, ensuring seamless end-to-end production across knitting, dyeing, finishing, and related processes.
• Oversee all aspects of manufacturing operations: production planning, capacity utilization, process optimization, and quality assurance.
• Lead, mentor, and manage large multi-functional teams across technical, operations, and support departments.
• Ensure compliance with international quality standards, environmental regulations, and sustainability requirements.
• Collaborate closely with the Board and CEO to develop and execute growth strategies, operational improvements, and cost optimization.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across safety, productivity, quality, and delivery performance.
• Build strong relationships with suppliers, buyers, and key stakeholders to support business expansion.
• Champion innovation and technology adoption within synthetic fabrics to maintain a competitive edge in the global market.

Requirements

• Extensive experience (15+ years) in the textile/fabric manufacturing industry, with proven expertise in synthetic fabric.
• Strong technical knowledge in knitting, dyeing, finishing, and fabric processing.
• Demonstrated track record in leading large-scale operations at senior management level (COO, Director, VP, or equivalent).
• Strong leadership and people management skills; ability to motivate and manage diverse teams.
• Hands-on operational mindset combined with strategic vision.
• International exposure and experience in managing operations in emerging markets is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Open to relocation to Bangladesh; global candidates are welcome.
