Job description

The Company: A leading Vietnamese travel tech company that offers a suite of services for both businesses and individuals is calling for applicants for a CFO to join their growing office in Hanoi.

Offering both B2B and B2C services this company is dedicated to bringing their customer the best experience when booking corporate travel. It allows customers to find deals on hotels and flights, all in one place. 

Responsibilities:

  • Review procedures and compliance of the Accounting department

  • Develop and analyze business data, prepare reports to the Board of Directors and investors

  • Analyze data, and business results on a monthly and annual basis; analyze the ratio and performance of business activities in the company

  • Analyze and prepare evaluation reports of financial plans and budgets for BUs

  • Develop and appraise business plans and investment projects

  • Search and work with partners on investment cooperation, capital raising

  • Prepare separate financial statements of domestic and foreign companies according to VAS & IAS

  • Consolidate financial statements under IAS & IFRS

  • Be in charge of financial accounting & legal issues of domestic and foreign companies

  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors and lawyers to work on Cayman and Singapore-related shareholder documents.

  • Lead fundraising, including investor relations, pitch development, and deal negotiation. Experience with M&A transactions is a plus.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a senior finance position

  • Fluent in English and excellent communication skills in general

  • Prior M&A experience is a plus

  • Strong understanding of international accounting standards and regulatory compliance

  • Excellent financial analysis and forecasting skills.

  • The individual will need to be detail-oriented and experienced in the delivery of accurate and timely reporting, performance measurements, budgeting, and forecasting.

  • Experience in leading a team

  • Strong problem solver, able to identify key metrics that will help the company improve financial performance.
