The Company: Our client is an iconic FMCG brand, with long standing history and significant ambitions to scale their presence across Asia Pacific.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership:
    • Develop and execute the company’s long-term strategic plan in alignment with market trends and organizational goals.
    • Foster an innovative, high-performance culture that drives the development of new products, services, and business models.
    • Lead the company in expanding its market share and entering new markets, with a focus on both regional and global growth opportunities.
  • Group-level Management:
    • Oversee the overall performance of all divisions, including sales, marketing, production, supply chain, finance, and HR, ensuring they operate cohesively toward the achievement of the corporate vision.
    • Establish effective corporate governance and policies to ensure operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and sustainable growth.
    • Develop and manage high-level relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, partners, and regulators.
  • Operational Oversight:
    • Be actively involved in key operational aspects of the business, ensuring efficiency and effective execution of strategies across all business units.
    • Lead by example in driving operational excellence, from product development to marketing, ensuring the company’s offerings align with consumer needs and industry trends.
    • Identify and address operational challenges, ensuring the company remains adaptable to market shifts and competitive pressures.
  • Financial Stewardship:
    • Oversee the financial performance of the company, ensuring profitability, cost management, and healthy growth.
    • Monitor financial metrics and adjust strategies accordingly to maintain a competitive edge and maximize shareholder value.
    • Work with the CFO to ensure robust financial planning, budgeting, and risk management practices.
  • Leadership & Team Development:
    • Cultivate and maintain a high-performing leadership team, ensuring clear accountability and alignment with the company’s strategic objectives.
    • Inspire and motivate employees at all levels to achieve excellence and innovation.
    • Provide mentorship and coaching to senior management, while promoting a culture of continuous development and career growth.
  • Stakeholder Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key external stakeholders, including business partners, customers, and investors.
    • Act as the primary spokesperson for the organization, representing its interests at industry forums, conferences, and media appearances.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or related fields. An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.

  • Minimum of 10-15 years of senior leadership experience in the FMCG industry, with at least 5 years at the Group or Corporate level.

  • Proven track record in driving business growth, managing complex operations, and delivering successful strategic initiatives.

  • Strong hands-on leadership capabilities, demonstrating the ability to make tactical decisions and manage day-to-day operations, when necessary.

  • Extensive experience in scaling businesses, managing P&L, and navigating market dynamics within the FMCG sector.

  • Strong strategic thinking and vision with an ability to execute and adapt to changing market dynamics.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to inspire and engage teams.

  • In-depth understanding of FMCG market trends, consumer behavior, and supply chain management in Vietnam market.

  • High degree of financial acumen, with experience in managing large-scale budgets and forecasting.

  • Proven ability to lead large, diverse teams in high-pressure environments.

  • A collaborative, results-driven leader who can balance both strategic oversight and operational detail.
