Chief Accountant

About the Company

Our client is a well-established international F&B manufacturing group with strong operations across Asia and other key markets. In Vietnam, the company operates several large-scale production facilities and continues to invest in sustainable growth and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage month-end and year-end financial closing to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

• Review and reconcile balance sheet and P&L accounts; analyze key variances and highlight insights to management.

• Monitor production performance, including yield, cost, and stock valuation on a monthly basis.

• Oversee accounts payable and receivable; maintain effective control over credit and collections.

• Manage inventory accounting and monthly stock reports; ensure consistency between physical counts and system data.

• Lead periodic stock counts and fixed asset verification activities.

• Coordinate with tax, customs, and legal teams to ensure full compliance with local regulations.

• Oversee accrual postings and ensure accurate expense recognition within reporting periods.

• Identify control issues and drive process improvements proactively.

• Supervise and coach accounting staff to ensure strong performance and collaboration across departments.

• Support internal and external audits, and contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes.

• Deliver ad-hoc financial analysis and management reports when required.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• Minimum 7 years of relevant accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment (F&B experience preferred).

• Strong familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems.

• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.

• High attention to detail and accuracy in reporting.

• Proven leadership and people management skills.
