Role & Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to penetrate the retail market segment.
• Identify prospective retail customers and build strong relationships with key decision-makers.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective promotional campaigns and sales materials tailored to the retail sector.
• Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify growth opportunities and product development strategies.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with retail partners to maximize profitability and market share.
• Monitor competitor activities and industry trends to stay ahead of market developments.
• Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on sales performance, market trends, and strategic initiatives.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
• Proven track record of successful business development in the building materials or related industry, specifically within retail channels.
• Strong understanding of retail sales strategies and market dynamics in the building materials sector.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Strategic thinker with a results-driven approach and a passion for driving business growth.
