We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead the evaluation of investment opportunities, conduct feasibility studies, and manage the due diligence process for land acquisition and property development projects.

This role requires strong analytical capability, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to provide strategic investment recommendations that support the company’s long-term growth objectives.

Our client is a well-established international real estate developer with a strong presence in Vietnam. The company focuses on large-scale residential and mixed-use developments and is committed to sustainable urban development, innovation, and long-term investment growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Investment Evaluation & Analysis

• Lead the review and validation of feasibility studies for potential development and acquisition opportunities.

• Perform financial analysis and investment modeling to evaluate project feasibility and returns.

• Prepare investment proposals, business cases, and management presentations for approval.

• Coordinate external consultants involved in feasibility studies and project assessments.

2. Due Diligence & Risk Assessment

• Manage end-to-end due diligence, including legal, financial, technical, and commercial reviews.

• Identify investment risks and recommend mitigation strategies.

• Ensure proper governance, documentation, and compliance throughout the acquisition process.

3. Land Acquisition & Deal Origination

• Identify and evaluate potential land acquisition and development opportunities.

• Build and maintain relationships with landowners, brokers, consultants, strategic partners, and relevant authorities.

• Support preliminary negotiations and commercial structuring of investment opportunities.

4. Cross-functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Legal, Finance, Design, Project Development, and other internal stakeholders throughout the investment evaluation process.

• Provide market intelligence and commercial insights to support strategic business decisions.

5. Reporting & Strategic Planning

• Prepare regular reports on acquisition pipeline, market trends, and investment opportunities.

• Support annual business development planning and long-term investment strategy.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in business development, investment, acquisitions, or real estate development.
• Strong experience in property investment, land acquisition, or mixed-use/residential development is highly preferred.
• Proven track record in feasibility studies, financial modeling, investment appraisal, and due diligence.
• Strong financial modeling and investment valuation skills, with a good understanding of local real estate regulations, taxation, and investment approval processes.
• Established industry network and strong market research and commercial reporting capabilities.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive, results-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
• Fluent English communication and professional report writing skills.
