Job description

The Company:

Our client is an iconic interior design brand, with significant ambitions to scale their presence across Asia Pacific.

Role & Responsibilities:

  1. Client Acquisition:

    • Identify and research B2B potential clients who require interior design & build services.

    • Develop and implement strategies to acquire new clients, including cold calling, networking, attending industry events, and leveraging existing relationships.

    • Create compelling pitches and presentations to showcase the company's capabilities and services.

  2. Client Relationship Management:

    • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.

    • Act as the main point of contact for clients, addressing their inquiries, concerns, and requests in a timely and professional manner.

    • Collaborate with the design team to ensure projects are executed according to client specifications.

  3. Market Analysis:

    • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitors to identify new business opportunities.

    • Analyze market data to identify emerging trends and potential niches for the company's services.

    • Provide regular reports and recommendations to senior management based on market insights.

  4. Sales and Revenue Generation:

    • Develop and manage a sales pipeline, tracking project leads and opportunities through the sales cycle.

    • Prepare and negotiate contracts, pricing, and proposals in collaboration with the design team and management.

    • Achieve and exceed sales targets and revenue goals.

  5. Marketing and Branding:

    • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop marketing strategies and campaigns to promote the company's interior design services.

    • Participate in branding initiatives to enhance the company's image and reputation in the industry.

  6. Team Collaboration:

    • Work closely with interior designers, architects, and project managers to ensure a seamless transition from sales to project execution.

    • Communicate client requirements and expectations to the project team effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

  • Proven experience in business development, preferably in the interior design industry.

  • Strong knowledge of interior design concepts, trends, and products.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify growth opportunities.

  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and results-driven.
