Role & Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to drive growth and expand market share within the solar rooftop industry.
• Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, including partnerships, joint ventures, and strategic alliances, to enhance the company’s competitive position.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including potential clients, industry partners, government agencies, and regulatory bodies.
• Lead the sales team in generating leads, securing new business, and achieving revenue targets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and finance, to ensure seamless execution of projects and delivery of high-quality solutions to clients.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory developments to inform strategic decision-making and capitalize on emerging opportunities.
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to promote brand awareness and expand the company’s network.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the business development team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, or related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 12 years of experience in business development, sales, or related roles within the renewable energy industry, focusing on solar rooftop solutions.
• Proven track record of driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and building successful partnerships in the renewable energy sector.
• Strong understanding of solar energy technologies, market dynamics, and regulatory frameworks.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with diverse stakeholders.
• Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve ambitious goals.
