Job description

The Company:

Our client is an Global Retail brand, with long standing history and significant ambitions to scale their presence across Asia Pacific.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and be responsible for store opening plan in the area under its jurisdiction, guide and be responsible for the location selection of the company's stores and shopping mall negotiations.

  • Responsible for the store opening indicators in the responsible area.

  • Collect regional market information, sales data, distribution information of competing brands in business districts, etc.

  • Develop and maintain the cooperative relationship of large and medium-sized shopping malls and be responsible for the negotiation and strategic cooperation of shopping malls nationwide.

  • Develop and manage budgets related to retail business development activities.

  • Monitor financial performance, analyze key metrics, and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.

  • Optimize the assets of the stores operated 3 months after the opening and to promote the reduction of operating costs of the stores.

  • Optimize the EBITDA of stores to the greatest extent.

Requirements:

  •  More than 7 years of experience in store expansion, at least 2 years of experience in overseas chain store expansion, familiar with the development of fast-moving consumer goods (new retail) market.

  • Proven shopping mall resources in overseas markets is given priority.

  • Rich experience in store expansion and location selection, guiding the company to carry out expansion work.

  • Possess strong public relations ability, negotiation ability, overall planning ability, and clear logic.

  • Able to withstand strong work pressure and adapt to business trips.

  • Strong understanding of retail market dynamics and trends.

  • Demonstrated success in negotiating and closing high-value partnerships.

  • Strategic thinking with the ability to translate ideas into actionable plans.

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, ideally Mandarin speaking 

  • Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
