The Company: Our client, a global leader in premium mobility solutions, delivers innovation, safety, and sustainability to diverse industries worldwide. With Vietnam emerging as a fast-growing market, the company is accelerating its B2B expansion and seeking a BD Manager (B2B) to capture new opportunities and forge strategic partnerships.
Role & Responsibilities:
1. Territory & Customer Management
- Develop and implement action plans for assigned distributors, including gathering operational data, evaluating product performance, and conducting cost-benefit analyses to influence purchasing decisions.
- Collaborate with distributors to propose and execute improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct regular visits to priority customers, providing detailed reports and actionable follow-up plans.
2. Sales Development & Market Growth
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and market share objectives within the assigned portfolio.
- Identify, onboard, and develop new distributors to expand the coverage network.
- Increase sales volume and market presence across the territory.
- Support promotional activities and campaigns targeted at distributors and end-users.
3. Distributor Partnership & Performance
- Negotiate sales objectives with distributors and drive execution to achieve agreed results.
- Apply structured distribution management methodologies and partner programs to strengthen cooperation.
- Monitor purchase quality, inventory levels, and stock conditions to ensure availability and performance.
- Provide product knowledge and sales skill training for distributor sales teams.
4. Market Intelligence & Reporting
- Prepare and share performance reports with relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain and update customer and sales activity records in the CRM/SFA system.
- Gather and consolidate market insights, including competitor activities, pricing movements, product developments, and market trends.
- Conduct margin analysis and benchmark company offerings against competitors.
5. Risk & Credit Management
- Monitor distributor credit levels and ensure compliance with financial requirements.
- Evaluate distributor accounts based on performance, growth potential, and investment capabilities.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related fields; MBA is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of sales or commercial experience, preferably in automotive, industrial equipment, machinery, or related sectors.
- Strong new business development (hunting) mindset with a proven track record of growth delivery.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficient in Vietnamese and English, both spoken and written.
