The Business Development Manager (FDF) is responsible for driving international business growth for the Finished Dosage Forms portfolio through strategic partnerships, licensing deals, and customer acquisition. The role focuses on identifying new market opportunities, managing key accounts, and expanding company global footprint in regulated and semi-regulated markets.
Job Description:
1. Business Development & Market Expansion
- Identify, evaluate, and develop new business opportunities for Finished Dosage Forms (FDF) in international markets.
- Develop short-term and long-term business strategies aligned with global objectives.
- Explore opportunities for licensing-out, contract manufacturing (CMO/CDMO), and distribution partnerships.
2. Partner & Client Management
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with overseas distributors, pharmaceutical companies, and strategic partners.
- Act as the key contact point for assigned markets, ensuring effective communication and long-term collaboration.
- Lead commercial negotiations, including pricing, supply terms, contracts, and business agreements.
3. Product & Portfolio Management
- Promote FDF portfolio (e.g. tablets, capsules, injectables, oral liquids, etc.) to international customers.
- Work closely with internal teams (R&D, Regulatory, Manufacturing, QA) to assess product feasibility and customer requirements.
- Support product selection, dossier availability review, and customization based on market needs.
4. Market Intelligence & Analysis
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, pricing benchmarks, and customer demands.
- Monitor regulatory environments and market access requirements in target countries.
- Provide regular market insights and business forecasts to management.
5. Contract Execution & Project Coordination
- Coordinate internal cross-functional teams to ensure timely execution of projects, from inquiry to commercial launch.
- Follow up on samples, dossiers, technical documentation, and registration progress.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business through proactive project management
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Life Sciences, Business, or related field
- Minimum 3–8 years of experience in business development or sales within the pharmaceutical industry
- Experience with Finished Dosage Forms (FDF) is preferred
