Role and responsibilities
1. Leading the project team, coordinating all operational activities by utilizing internal and external resources to accomplish all project goals. It especially focuses on delivery time, project profitability and customer satisfaction.
2. Develop project plans (with MS project), including scheduling, cost control, quality control, and other aspects of project management.
3. Identify, quantifying project risks, and managing them with proactive measures in early phase. Develop risk mitigation plan to ensure risks are within manageable limits.
4. Follow all project gates achieved according to plan, be able to make quick adjustments and recovery plans for changes.
5. Closely track all project costs to stay within budget, and we shall strive to increase project gross margin by proactively seeking cost saving opportunities and controlling risks, including getting variation orders from customers.
6. Cash flow management, ensure on time cash collection.
7. Manage project site activities (when required), including Robotics installation & commissioning, and customer acceptance test (if any).
8. Complete all types of reports (i.e. progress report, Closeout reports etc.) and SAP operation on time and with high quality.
9. Summarize and evaluate projects, extract lessons learned and provide references for future projects.
Qualifications for the role
• Bachelor’s degree or above in engineering/ electrical/ automatic control/ mechanical
• Minimum 2 years’ work experience as project manager in Automation field, either Electronics, Automotive, Food & Beverage or General Industry
• With experience in engineering of automation system projects is a plus
• Fluent English communication skills both in speaking and writing
• Be able to adapt to domestic or abroad travel by project request
• Strong project team leadership ability, with demonstrated knowledge/ skills in management of project scope, cost, schedules and quality.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Able to work in a multinational environment
• Minimum basic level financial and commercial knowledge.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project. Knowledge with SAP, PMP certified is an advantage.
• Good Personal Leadership, team player and can work under pressure.
• Strong sense of responsibility and ownership.
• Be customer and result oriented.
• Continuous self-learning, courage to pursue outstanding.
