The Company: Our client is an electrical manufacturing group with long standing history and significant ambitions to scale their presence across Asia.
Role & Responsibilities:
An integral member of their global leadership team, this individual will have extensive leverage to establish world class finance and accounting capabilities within their organization as a progressive finance leader in a position of Associate Finance Director in Bac Ninh.
You will be responsible for:
1. Financial Planning and Analysis:
o Develop and implement financial strategies and budgets for the plant, aligning them with the company’s overall objectives.
o Conduct regular financial analysis and forecasting to identify potential risks and opportunities for cost optimization and revenue growth.
o Provide insightful financial reports to the executive team and board of directors, highlighting key performance indicators and variance analysis.
2. Financial Reporting and Compliance:
o Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with local regulations and company policies.
o Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
o Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with financial and legal requirements.
3. Risk Management:
o Implement robust risk management practices to safeguard the financial interests of the plant and the company.
o Identify and assess financial risks, proposing and implementing appropriate risk mitigation strategies.
4. Cash Flow Management:
o Monitor and manage the plant’s cash flow, optimizing working capital to meet operational needs.
o Oversee credit management and accounts receivable/payable processes.
5. Plant Operations Management:
o Collaborate with plant managers and operations teams to ensure financial objectives align with operational goals.
o Analyze production costs, inventory management, and supply chain to identify opportunities for operational efficiency.
6. Strategic Planning:
o Participate in strategic planning sessions and provide financial insights to support the development of business strategies.
o Evaluate investment opportunities, mergers, and acquisitions from a financial perspective.
7. Team Leadership:
o Lead and mentor the finance team, ensuring their professional growth and development.
o Foster a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
• Proficiency in SAP.
• Certification in CPA or AIA .
• Strong understanding of financial regulations and reporting standards in Vietnam.
• Prior experience in managing financial operations within a manufacturing or industrial setting, preferably within a plant or factory.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to build and lead effective teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
• Fluency in English and Vietnamese languages, Chinese is a plus.
