The Company:
Our client is an electrical manufacturing group with long standing history and significant ambitions to scale their presence across Asia.
Role & Responsibilities:
An integral member of their global leadership team, this individual will have extensive leverage to establish world class finance and accounting capabilities within their organization as a progressive finance leader in a position of Associate Finance Director in Bac Ninh.
You will be responsible for:
Financial Planning and Analysis:
Develop and implement financial strategies and budgets for the plant, aligning them with the company's overall objectives.
Conduct regular financial analysis and forecasting to identify potential risks and opportunities for cost optimization and revenue growth.
Provide insightful financial reports to the executive team and board of directors, highlighting key performance indicators and variance analysis.
Financial Reporting and Compliance:
Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with local regulations and company policies.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with financial and legal requirements.
Risk Management:
Implement robust risk management practices to safeguard the financial interests of the plant and the company.
Identify and assess financial risks, proposing and implementing appropriate risk mitigation strategies.
Cash Flow Management:
Monitor and manage the plant's cash flow, optimizing working capital to meet operational needs.
Oversee credit management and accounts receivable/payable processes.
Plant Operations Management:
Collaborate with plant managers and operations teams to ensure financial objectives align with operational goals.
Analyze production costs, inventory management, and supply chain to identify opportunities for operational efficiency.
Strategic Planning:
Participate in strategic planning sessions and provide financial insights to support the development of business strategies.
Evaluate investment opportunities, mergers, and acquisitions from a financial perspective.
Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor the finance team, ensuring their professional growth and development.
Foster a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
Proficiency in SAP.
Certification in CPA or AIA .
Strong understanding of financial regulations and reporting standards in Vietnam.
Prior experience in managing financial operations within a manufacturing or industrial setting, preferably within a plant or factory.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to build and lead effective teams.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
Fluency in English and Vietnamese languages, Chinese is a plus.
