Job Description:
- Oversee the monthly closing cycle to ensure accurate consolidation and timely submission of financial data for both group reporting and statutory requirements.
- Conduct thorough reviews of general ledger entries to confirm correct account allocations and resolve irregularities or variances.
- Prepare periodic financial statements, management summaries, and ad-hoc analytical reports for internal stakeholders and finance management.
- Provide support and serve as a backup to the Senior Accountant during peak periods or absences.
- Collaborate with the Head of Finance and regional team to drive the successful implementation of SAP, ensuring operational readiness and smooth go-live execution.
- Participate in data migration, validation, and system integration testing to confirm accuracy and consistency of financial data.
- Carry out assigned project-related duties and assist with process improvement initiatives during the transition phase.
- Partner with the Head of Finance to localize and embed corporate financial policies, ensuring adherence to tax regulations, accounting standards, and internal control frameworks.
- Coordinate audit and tax-related activities, including preparing supporting documentation and liaising with external auditors and consultants.
- Contribute to strengthening governance practices and maintaining compliance with both regional and global finance requirements.
Job Requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline (professional certifications are an advantage).
- Approximately 4–6 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting roles, ideally gained within a multinational commercial setting; prior exposure to auditing is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict reporting deadlines.
- Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools; experience with financial systems is a plus.
- Strong analytical thinking and commercial insight to contribute to strategic financial decisions.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the capability to influence and collaborate across functions.
- Meticulous, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining high standards of accuracy.
- Customer-centric approach and a sound understanding of business operations.
- Agile mindset with the ability to integrate well into organizational culture and align with key business objectives.
