About the job

The Company: Our client is an iconic Industrial brand, with long standing history and significant ambitions to scale their presence across Asia Pacific.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Lead market penetration and business development strategies to grow product presence and market share.
  • Develop and implement sales plans aligned with regional and global objectives to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Identify and build long-term relationships with OEMs, system integrators, distributors, and end users.
  • Provide technical and commercial support to customers, ensuring solutions meet their operational needs.
  • Establish and manage a network of local distributors and partners to extend market coverage.
  • Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and customer behaviors to provide insights and recommendations for business planning.
  • Work closely with engineering, service, marketing, and supply chain teams to deliver value-added solutions and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Regularly report on sales performance, pipeline status, and market development activities to regional management.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, Mechatronics), Business or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 – 8 years of relevant sales experience in industrial automation, mechanical power transmission, or motion control.
  • Strong network with OEMs, factories, and distributors in sectors such as F&B, logistics, packaging, or manufacturing.
  • Hands-on experience managing B2B technical sales cycles and negotiation processes.
  • Proactive, self-driven, and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within region.
