Role & Responsibilities:

• Receive and assess price quote requests from customer service or management, ensuring clear specifications and creating detailed cost breakdowns using Excel spreadsheets.
• Work closely with different departments to gather essential data for accurate cost estimates for product lines.
• Maintain professional communication with factories and suppliers to quickly obtain competitive pricing for products and materials, ensuring timely completion of quotations.
• Organize and review cost data from both external suppliers and internal teams to make informed decisions on final pricing.
• Evaluate cost proposals from various factories to choose the best manufacturers for furniture products.
• Understand the Bill of Materials (BOM) and accurately compile cost data from multiple sources onto spreadsheets.
• Monitor updates in product designs, raw materials, and manufacturing processes to assess their impact on pricing.
• Show urgency and attention to detail in preparing precise cost estimates.
• Adhere to the timeline for cost calculations to ensure timely submission of quotations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in costing, merchandising, or accounting within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with Bill of Materials (BOM), packaging, and various materials, ideally within the furniture or garment industry.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel & strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good communication skills in English.
