The Company: Our client is a leading manufacturer in the Industrial Sector, with long-standing history and significant ambitions to scale their presence across Asia Pacific.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement production schedules to ensure customer demands are met efficiently and cost-effectively.
• Manage day-to-day production activities, including supervising and motivating a team of workers.
• Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions as needed to ensure production targets are met.
• Collaborate with quality control, maintenance, and other departments to optimize production processes.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
• Review and analyze production data to identify and resolve any issues affecting efficiency.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and manage stock levels to minimize shortages and excesses.
• Monitor and control production costs and identify measures to reduce expenses where possible.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and lean manufacturing practices.
• Prepare and present regular reports on production metrics and progress to senior management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Production Manager in a manufacturing environment, preferably in plastics or packaging.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach to managing operations.
• Solid understanding of quality control principles and health and safety regulations.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
