The Company:
Our client is one of the leading industrial brand with significant ambitions to scale their Vietnam business to the next level.
Role & Responsibilities:
Set up and commission individual machines of the company product portfolio depending on the technical specialization of the technician under the guidance of an experienced service technician at the beginning and later independently
Perform troubleshooting on the company range of individual machines and also partner companies with their supplied equipment
Provide technical training to machine operators at the customer’s site
Provide technical support to customers
Actively assist when it comes to design changes/improvements in collaboration with the designer
Support the improvement of quality to companywide quality standards
Work independently and autonomously on a task and within the working environment
Identify and rectify disorders, if necessary with support
Actively participate in problem solving to analyze the cause of disorders. Be able to issue disorder reports
Encourage measures regarding process/procedure optimization; to advise and implement to develop and optimize work stages
Supervise company equipment and partner equipment installation according company standards
Inspect machines for overhaul and spare parts
Execute machine overhauls and re-setup machines after completion
Promote machine upgrade option to customers
Requirements:
Bachelor or higher in technical field (electrical, mechanical, mechatronics, automation, or similar)
Experience in field service preferred
Understanding of mechanical drawings and part lists
Knowledgeable in Siemens control systems (S7/TIA), drive technologies (e.g Danfoss, B&R,…), bus and network systems and pneumatics
Basic understanding of fluid technology and knowledge in pneumatics
Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Willingness to travel extensively in Vietnam and abroad
Good English communication and problem solving competence
