The Company:

Role & Responsibilities:
Vendor Management:
Identify, assess, and select suppliers for building materials, negotiating pricing and terms.
Maintain strong, strategic relationships with suppliers to ensure a reliable source of high-quality materials.
Continuously evaluate vendor performance, addressing any issues and seeking opportunities for improvement.
Cost Optimization:
Develop and implement cost-effective procurement strategies.
Monitor market trends and industry conditions to make informed decisions about material pricing and sourcing.
Collaborate with the finance and accounting teams to control budgets and track cost savings.
Contract Negotiation:
Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions.
Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in all procurement activities.
Review and update contracts as necessary to adapt to changing business needs.
Quality Assurance:
Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure that all purchased materials meet or exceed industry standards.
Implement quality control procedures and work with suppliers to address quality issues promptly.
Inventory Management:
Oversee inventory levels and develop strategies to maintain optimal stock levels while minimizing excess or obsolete materials.
Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to streamline inventory management processes.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Proven experience in procurement, preferably within the Building Materials industry.
Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
Excellent understanding of supply chain management and procurement best practices.
Knowledge of industry regulations, quality standards, and market trends.
Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
