We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Independent Sales Manager to represent our Western market leader company in the agricultural machinery sector, specifically focusing on agricultural processing machines and harvesters. The ideal candidate will have a strong network of connections within the agricultural production industry, possessing exceptional communication and negotiation skills in English. This role requires a proactive individual who can work independently, identify potential customers, and drive sales growth within the designated territory.
Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for promoting and selling agricultural processing machines and harvesters to agricultural producers, dealers, and related stakeholders.
Leverage existing industry relationships and establish new connections to expand the company's network within the agricultural production sector.
Conduct market research to identify potential clients, their needs, and market trends, adapting the sales approach accordingly.
Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, managing leads and opportunities through various stages of the sales cycle.
Engage in consultative selling, understanding customer requirements and offering tailored solutions to meet their specific needs.
Provide product demonstrations and presentations to potential clients, showcasing the features and benefits of our agricultural machinery.
Collaborate with the technical team to ensure a deep understanding of product specifications, capabilities, and competitive advantages.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with customers, aiming to achieve mutually beneficial agreements while meeting company revenue targets.
Prepare accurate sales forecasts, reports, and updates on a regular basis, keeping the management team informed of progress and challenges.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitors' activities, and market dynamics to continually refine the sales strategy.
Proven track record of successful sales experience in the agricultural machinery sector, preferably with agricultural processing machines and/or harvesters.
Strong network of contacts within the agricultural production industry, including agricultural producers, dealers, distributors, and related stakeholders.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate technical information clearly and persuasively.
Self-motivated and proactive, capable of working independently and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
Demonstrated ability to build rapport, establish trust, and foster long-term customer relationships.
Experience with consultative and solution-based selling, understanding customer needs and aligning them with product offerings.
Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools to manage leads, opportunities, and sales activities.
Flexibility to travel as needed for client meetings, trade shows, and industry events.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
