Job description

The Company:

Our client is in edutech industry, with significant ambitions to scale their presence across Asia Pacific.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with development, content creation, and design teams to establish and enforce quality assurance standards for our digital educational products.

  • Create and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to identify defects, inconsistencies, and usability issues in software applications, websites, and content.

  • Conduct thorough testing, including functional, regression, and usability testing, to validate the functionality and user experience of our digital products.

  • Identify, document, and prioritize defects and issues using established bug tracking systems, and work with development teams to facilitate timely resolutions.

  • Collaborate with content creators to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with educational objectives in digital course content.

  • Perform continuous monitoring and analysis of user feedback and product usage data to proactively identify areas for improvement and enhancement.

  • Participate in design and feature discussions to provide QA insights and ensure that quality considerations are integrated from the early stages of product development.

  • Assist in maintaining QA/QC documentation, including test plans, test cases, and quality assurance guidelines.

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement processes and initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Education, Instructional Design, or a related field.

  • Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Specialist, preferably in the Edutech industry.

  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing techniques, and best practices.

  • Familiarity with e-learning platforms, digital education content, and user experience principles.

  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

  • Proficiency in using QA tools and bug tracking systems.

  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
