About the role: The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of hands-on experience in implementing, configuring, and supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (D365FO), specifically within the Finance module. This role requires a deep understanding of financial processes and the ability to translate business requirements into effective D365FO solutions.
Job Responsibilities:
- Implementation & Configuration: Lead and participate in the implementation and configuration of the D365 Finance module to meet business requirements, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Budgeting, and Financial Reporting.
- Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document detailed business requirements related to financial processes. Translate these requirements into functional specifications.
- Solution Design: Design and propose D365FO solutions that address business needs and enhance financial processes. Ensure that solutions are scalable, efficient, and aligned with industry best practices.
- Customization & Integration: Work with technical teams to customize D365FO Finance modules as needed, ensuring seamless integration with other modules and third-party applications.
- Testing & Quality Assurance: Develop test cases, conduct functional testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the solution meets business needs and is free of defects.
- Training & Support: Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring they are equipped to use the system effectively. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the D365 Finance module.
- Project Management: Participate in project planning, status reporting, and risk management activities. Work closely with project managers to ensure successful delivery of D365FO projects.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on the latest D365FO updates, features, and best practices. Proactively recommend improvements to financial processes and system configurations.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Functional Consultant with a focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (D365FO).
- Deep understanding of financial processes and best practices, including GL, AP, AR, FA, and financial reporting.
- Proven experience in the full lifecycle of D365FO Finance module implementation projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex business requirements and translate them into functional solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Certification in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations is a plus.
- Experience with Power BI and other reporting tools is desirable.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
