Role & Responsibilities:

An integral member of their global leadership team, this individual will have extensive leverage to establish world class business development capabilities within their organization as a progressive sales leader in a position of Business Development Manager (Korean) - Textile & Garment.

You will be responsible for:

  • Market Research and Analysis:

    • Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify potential customers, competitors, and market trends in the Korean textiles and garment industry.

    • Monitor and analyze market conditions, customer preferences, and industry developments to develop effective sales and business strategies.

    • Identify new market segments, emerging trends, and untapped opportunities for business growth.

  • Business Development:

    • Develop and implement strategic plans to expand the company's customer base and increase market share from Korean FDI clients.

    • Proactively seek out and generate leads, establish new business relationships, and convert prospects into long-term clients.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative product offerings and solutions that meet customer needs and drive sales.

  • Client Relationship Management:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and partners in the Korean textiles and garment industry.

    • Understand clients' requirements, provide exceptional customer service, and ensure client satisfaction throughout the sales process.

    • Act as a trusted advisor, addressing client concerns, negotiating contracts, and managing customer expectations.

  • Sales and Revenue Generation:

    • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and maximize profitability.

    • Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations, proposals, and quotations to potential clients.

    • Track sales performance, analyze sales data, and generate regular reports for management review.

Requirements:

  • Korean is a must.

  • Proven experience as a Business Development Manager or in a similar sales role within the textiles and garment industry.

  • In-depth knowledge of the Korean textiles and garment market, including key players, trends, and customer preferences.

  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify opportunities and develop effective business strategies.

  • Self-motivated, results-oriented with team management skillset.
